Timothé Ringeard

I’m a PhD student at the MAP5 laboratory, in Université Paris Cité. I’m supervised by Amandine Véber and François Robin.

My research focuses on mathematical models for cell biology. On the biological side, I’m intersted in the actin network and how it shapes the cell. On the mathematical side, I’m interested on the macroscopic behaviour and properties that emerge from relatively simple microscopic rules. Proteins, or molecules, are considered individually, and each of them evolves randomly with simple rules according to its direct environment. I’m more specifically interested in the case where these the space component of these molecules is continuous.
